Hey space! Whaddya think of this? justgetflux.comEver notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow? Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Idea, and get blinded by your computer screen? During the day, computer screens look good—they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun. f.luxf.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day. It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better

I set the color temperature of my lights very careful some computer screens let you change this setting in the menu I like 2400K lights, most computers are set to something like 7500K to 9000K (but true RGB does not really have a color temperature) the issue is that the higher the color temperature, the more efficient it is a good number for day or night is 4500K, but very few lights seem to be made in this range (I have a few of them) the thing that rally messed with me was lights in one room not matching the others. as I walked into various rooms it really messed with me. so now I set them all the same. that is unless they are very dim. I have a 7800K light in my living room that is running at something like 0.7W of power, plenty enough to see by, but is just not enough light to mess with my biology
so what you post is a fantastic idea. and one that should have been factory default of any screen.
